Stephanie Kiesow-Edoh, MA, MPH, CLE
My work as a birth doula within the Los Angeles, CA and Upstate New York communities is balanced with my Associate Director position at UCLA's Center for Reproductive Science, Health and Education. The tools and modalities I practice in the field are directly related to the maternal and child health research topics that inspire the work I do for the Center. As a strong advocate for gender equality and women's health, I have experience working on maternal and child health projects both domestically and abroad (topics including: menstrual health, pregnancy and postpartum education, stress and anxiety during pregnancy, and parent-child dyads). My daughters, Calla and Aria, are my greatest inspiration and keep me rooted in the sacredness of birth work. See full bio.
What she has over anyone else is her incredible energy that she brings to a room. I know for a fact that I had the birth that I had because of this wonderful woman being there to guide me so beautifully with her loving and calm ways.
